Stuffy professional headshots are a thing of the past.

The Gallery Noir Portrait elevates your brand.

Your clients want to see you. What are you showing them?

Invest in your personal brand. It shows you at your best, the way you want prospective clients to see you. But yea, I get it, not many people like having their portrait taken. Investing in a high-quality, professionally taken headshot can only elevate your brand. But maybe you've had a bad experience in the past with headshots? Today's personal brands aren't the stuffy corporate suit and jackets of the past, so why are professional headshots still that way? It's time, as professional photographers, we keep up with changing client needs.

That's where I have come up with the Gallery Noir Portrait. It's a modern day portrait series, that adds a sexy, feminine quality that only a boudoir photographer can offer. It can serve as branding images or for personal use.

What sets Gallery Noir apart?

The series is inspired by the movement, Film Noir. Film noir comes from the cinema of the 1940s. The era is associated with a low-key, black-and-white visual style that has roots in German Expressionist cinematography. The Gallery Noir Portrait final goal is to produce a striking, black and white image, reminiscent of true black and white film and gelatin silvers prints of the past, long before digital photography took over.

Picture this:

A timeless, distinguished image, set on a seamless gray backdrop, with high contrast (yet flattering) studio lighting, and you perched on a black stool, looking like the fierce boss lady you are. Doesn't that sound so much better than a stuffy head and shoulders photo of you in a blazer?

headshots, branding photography, film noir, female headshots, models, musician photography, vocalist photos, jazz images
