This month, we’re proud to spotlight Nicole, a devoted mother, business owner, and quiet force of nature who’s rediscovering her confidence on her own terms. Originally from Slidell, Louisiana, Nikki now lives in New Iberia with her daughter.

A Journey of Rediscovery

For Nicole, confidence hasn’t come easy. In fact, the last time she remembers truly feeling sexy and self-assured was before the birth of her daughter—over 16 years ago. “Since giving birth I have remained a bit heavier, with this year being the most I have ever weighed. It has my self-confidence beyond low,” she shares vulnerably.

And yet, her story isn’t about staying in that place. It’s about taking the first steps to reconnect with herself, even in the face of deep self-doubt.

A Heart That Serves

Nicole has worn many hats—mother, entrepreneur, friend, and now, an at-home personal assistant running her own business to support her family. What once were busy days filled with friends and laughter have quieted a bit as she’s withdrawn inward, navigating the emotional weight that can come with low self-image.

But her work ethic never faltered. And that speaks volumes.

A Voice for What Matters

If you handed Nicole a microphone and a stage, she wouldn’t use it to talk about herself. She’d use it to shine a light on something far bigger—mental illness awareness.

“Mental illness is something I’d speak about to a room full of people,” she says confidently.

It’s clear that her empathy runs deep; a strength that so many may never see, but one that’s powerfully felt.

From stubborn pets to wild creatures, Nicole seems to have a calming presence that earns their trust every time. “I can tame just about any I encounter,” she quips. This soft skill says so much about her energy—quiet, intuitive, healing.

We chose Nicole not because she feels her most confident right now, but because she’s choosing herself day by day even when it’s hard. In the face of the hardest inner battles, she's still building a business, raising her daughter, and finding the courage to be seen again.
