Job Description:

We are seeking a professional and encouraging studio assistant to support our boudoir photography business. As a studio assistant, you will play an essential role in assisting with photography sessions, moving and setting up equipment, and maintaining a clean and welcoming studio environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with women, is comfortable in a boudoir setting, and wants to be part of a creative, empowering environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist the photographer during photography sessions – Provide hands-on support during client sessions, helping the photographer with light and background setup and ensuring the shoot runs smoothly from start to finish.
2. Set up and move studio equipment – Safely handle lights, backdrops, furniture, and photography equipment as needed for each session, ensuring all props and setups are in place.
3. Support clients with posing adjustments – Gently guide and assist clients with positioning when asked, helping them feel comfortable and confident during the session.
4. Maintain a clean and organized studio environment – Keep the studio space neat, organized, and ready for clients. This includes tidying up after sessions and occasional light cleaning.
5. Handle studio laundry and light upkeep tasks – Wash, fold, and maintain studio linens, robes, and fabrics used during sessions, as well as assist with small upkeep tasks around the studio.
6. Post session tasks - Write thank you cards, build client gift bags and restock client amenities such as snacks, water, etc.
7. Provide a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for clients – Greet clients warmly, ensure they feel comfortable in the studio, and help create a positive and empowering environment. Be her cheerleader!

Requirements and Skills:

1. Professional and encouraging attitude
2. Comfortable working with women and partial nudity
3. Ability to lift 20–25 lbs
4. Must have a high school diploma
5. Relevant experience in retail, customer service, or hospitality is a plus
