While Florida boasts some of the most picturesque beach locations, I took on the challenge of making Louisiana’s shores look just as dreamy. Sure, our water might have a “special” tint, and the sand might not exactly sparkle, but with the right lighting and angles, even our beaches can be transformed into a stunning boudoir paradise. This has me hopeful to capture some ladies celebrating during a summer vacation on the Emeral Coast - think Pensacola, Rosemary Beach or anywhere along 30A!
A Recent Beach Boudoir Photoshoot
For this recent session, we chose a secluded stretch of Louisiana’s coastline (yes, we have those!). We incorporated natural elements like driftwood, seashells, and, well, strategically avoiding washed-up debris to create dreamy, organic imagery. We had an overcast sky for most of it but it gave a soft, creamy light to her skin.
She embraced the experience wholeheartedly, allowing the sound of the waves (and possibly some distant boat motors) to bring out her most confident and radiant self. The result? Stunning, intimate portraits that highlight her beauty, strength, and femininity—despite the beach's less-than-tropical vibes.
